Acai berry provides many great benefits for weight loss. - Gingko biloba: One informative source indicates that the antioxidant count of acai berry is five times more potent than in this herb. This is saying quite a bit, considering ginkgo one of the most useful herbs consumed today. This fact changes the way people think, and provides a challenge for people to change their diets.
- Red Wine Grapes: Acai berry is said to contain 10 to 30 times more antioxidants (anthocyanins) than red wine grapes. The specific difference in potency depends upon which two forms of either of these fruits are compared. For example juices, pulps, or whole berries all contain varied potencies of antioxidants.
- Blueberries: It contains at least two times the cancer-fighting agents present in blueberries. One source suggests at least three times the potency of blueberries.
- Pomegranates: This fruit contains two times less of antioxidants. This is quite a revelation, considering this fruit used to be considered very powerful.
